One Health Day is celebrated at Ohio State symposium

Ohio State's Global One Health initiative and campus partners held the 2018 One Health Day Symposium on November 1 - 2 to bring the local and global community members together in recognition of One Health Day, observed annually on November 3.

Representatives from Ohio State, state and federal agencies, and international partners presented on the various threats posed to human health and the environment. They also highlighted the university's global initiatives that seek solutions to these concerns through capacity building, field research and outreach efforts.
